LESLIE PAUL KOLLAR Peacefully at his home with his family by his side, Leslie passed away on March 25, 2000 at the age of 74 years. Leslie was predeceased by his sister Lillian. He leaves to mourn his wife Elizabeth; three daughters, Geraldine (Lyle) Beuckx, Andrea (Carmen) Carlucci and Vikki Winter; also seven grandchildren, Anthony, Tristan, Jamie, Jeremy, Nevan, Stevan, and Harley; his sister Mary Dagg and also numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Leslie was born in Hungary and at the age of four he came to Canada with his parents and two sisters. His occupations were farming, realtor, investor, handyman and he also served in the Armed Forces. Leslie was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Lennox Club, St. Vital Curling Club and Golf Club. His sense of humour was enjoyed by his many friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to V.O.N. Myrna Brownlee, Mary Ashcroft and Carrie Knight for their compassion and kindness, to the home care attendants who gave him many hours of care, and especially to Rev. Fr. Renato Pasinato, Rev. Fr. Gerry Ward, Dr. Wollner and Dr. K. Vijay. In accordance with Leslies wishes cremation has already taken place. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 847 St. Marys Rd., with the Rev. Fr. Renata Pasinato presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9, phone 787-2197, or to a charity of ones choice.
