MAURICE W. GILMORE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Maurice Gilmore on Sunday, March 26, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 95 years He leaves to mourn his children; Denis (Darlene), Ron, Diane (Ross), Don (Carolyn), and Paul (Jeannette) his son-in-law Ron Cleem and daughter-in-law Rita Gilmore; his 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Laurie. Dad was predeceased by his first wife Irene and his second wife Ida, son Raymond and daughter Renee. Dad worked for C.N. for 46 years starting in Somerset at the age of 15 years and worked in Cardinal, Altamont and then Letellier where Dad resided for 37 years. Before his passing, Dad resided at the Columbus Manor since 1987. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Conseil Montcalm) for 37 years. We would like to thank Dr. Mehta and the staff on 6A at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care given to Dad. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31 at Letellier Roman Catholic Church in Letellier, Manitoba with interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dads memory to Alzheimer Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. "Toujours dans nos coeurs."
