FRED DEVERE Fred Devere passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2000 at the age of 92. Fred is survived by his children, Clarice, Barry, David (Cecile) grandchildren, Marla (Michael), Stephen (Sandy), Daniel and Janelle; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Rochelle and Mitchell; sister Anne and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Shaine and David; children Harvey and Marvin and brother Leon. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of 4E, St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. D. Haligowski, Home Care Staff and especially, Pat. At Freds request, a graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at Rosh Pina Memorial Park, 2795 Main St., with Rabbi Neal Rose and Cantor Gerry Daien officiating. Pallbearers will be Norman Bubis, Daniel Devere, Daniel Margolese, Stephen Schecter, Saul Selby and Ralph Stoffman. The family welcomes visits of condolence (Shiva) calls at 3 Hopwood Drive after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, after 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 and after 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Freds memory to Rosh Pina Synagogue, 123 Matheson Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2W 0C3, Sharon Home Inc., 146 Magnus Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2W 2B4 or the organization of your choice.
