JEAN EUGENE JOSEPH JOLICOEUR With all his family by his side, Dad left us peacefully on March 27, 2000 for his final journey home. Although our hearts are aching to have had to say good-bye, it is in Thanksgiving that our Lord has finally given Dad repose. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Emilia and their children; Jeanne (Rick Rickards), Denise (Henry Medeiros), Therese (Gordon Beilner), Gilbert, Guy, (Bettianne), Yolande, Gerard, Lorraine (Victor Michaud), and Monique. Dad was gifted with 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren which he adores. His memory will also be cherished by his five brothers and their wives; Leo, Theodore (Noellia), Lucien (Marlene), Ernest (Edna), and Felix (Cecile) and also four sisters; Irene, Eva, Bertha (Sonny), Lea (Lionel) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by his mom and dad (Stanislas and Alice), one brother (Henri) and one sister (Helene). Mass of the Resurrection will take place at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1007 St. Marys Road at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30. Jean will be laid to rest at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Deepest gratitude to all the staff at St. Boniface General Hospital who so tenderly cared for dad and compassionately aided our family during this sorrowful time.
