SHIN TAIK CHOI Shin Taik Choi left us to be with the Lord in heaven, suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2000. Born and educated in Korea, she immigrated to Canada with her daughter in 1965 and she has worked most of her life giving care to others as a nurse. No words can describe the sorrow and emptiness of the family, but knowing that she is with the Lord and that someday we will be together, will help us to rejoice amidst the sadness. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and T.J. Lee; and two grandsons, Joshua and Jeremy. She is also survived by two older brothers and two younger brothers and their families and numerous friends too many to mention. Relatives and friends are invited to prayers at McINNIS & HOLLOWAYS "Chapel of the Bells", (2720 Centre St., N.), on Wednesday, March 29 at 5:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Korean First Presbyterian Church, 1840 - 38th St., S.E., Calgary on Thursday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Sinyil Kim officiating. To e-mail expressions of sympathy: condolences@mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to World Vision of Canada, #301, 1716 - 16th Ave., N.W., Calgary, AB T2M 0L7. Telephone: (403) 282-2020 which Shin Taik supported most of her life, will be appreciated. "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."Rev. 21:4 In living memory of Shin Taik Choi, a tree will be planted at Nose Creek Valley by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, "Chapel Of The Bells", 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH, TELEPHONE (403) 276-2296.
