Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHIE CHAMBERS (Nee RYCAR) JUNE 24, 1921 - MARCH 28, 2000 After a long and courageous struggle with many health problems, Sophie Chambers departed this earth, to be with the Lord, in an everlasting peace and serenity. Sophie was predeceased by her husband Michael in March 1987, as well as her parents and two brothers, and one brother-in-law. She leaves to mourn sons, Don (Verna), Ken (Suzanne), and daughter Lorraine (Chris), as well her grandchildren Kristin and Corey. Also left to mourn are brothers, Steve Rysen (Elsie), and Joe Rysen (Betty) and sister Josephine Dunn, all of British Columbia, numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully decline. Donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 2A5, or Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301- 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8. The family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to all staff at Grace Hospital, Misericordia Health Centre, Calvary Place, Deer Lodge Centre, and Home Care Services for their kindness compassion and devotion through Sophies difficult times.
