THERESE MENARD (nee VERMETTE) Peacefully, on March 29, at St. Boniface Hospital, mom, aged 66, left us to be with her Lord. She leaves to mourn her children, Gisele (Denis) Fontaine, Norm (Annette) Fillion, Lynne (Bryan) Demarcke, Carole (Gilles) Quenelle and Jacqueline Fillion (Brian) 14 grandchildren and their father/grandfather Roger Fillion; stepchildren, Raymond Menard and Cecil Magne (Richard) and their families; her sisters, Yvonne OBrien (Walter), Jeanette Shields (Elden) and Lorraine Letourneau (Leo). She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jules Menard; her parents, Leo and Alma Vermette and her little brother Denis. Sincere appreciation is extended to the Palliative Care health care providers, to moms special angels and dear friends Roger and Denise Sabourin for going "the extra mile" with their love and support. Prayers will be said on Friday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 at Precieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St. Cremation will follow with private interment at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
