Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL BRYON KOSTICK Daniel Bryon Kostick, age 48 years, passed away suddenly but peacefully, at home in Moose Jaw, SK, on March 20, 2000, as the result of a heart attack. Dan was born June 28, 1951 at Roblin, MB, the eldest child of George and Caroline (nee Holunga) Kostick. He grew up and received his education in Roblin. On May 19, 1973 Dan was united in marriage to Verla May Waggoner of Roblin. Dan and Verla have two daughters, Coral Dawn born September 30, 1978 and Monique Renee born February 20, 1989. Dans girls were his pride and joy. In May, 1974 Dan and Verla relocated from Roblin to Minnedosa, MB, where Dan was appointed manager of the Robinsons Store. In January, 1976 they moved to Kamsack, SK, where Dan started working with Macleods. In October of 1979 Dan started his 20-year career with the Saskatchewan Liquor Board, managing stores in Kamsack, Regina, and Moose Jaw. Dan is survived and deeply missed by his wife Verla and daughters, Coral (friend David Farmer) and Monique, all of Regina, SK; his parents, George and Carol Kostick of Roblin; his brothers and sisters, Ed (Olga) Kostick of Roblin, Avaline (Gerry) Nernberg of Creston, BC, Terry (Darlene) Kostick of Russell, MB, Myron (Norine) Kostick of Wainright, AB, Brenda (Chester) Cockerill of Roblin, Ron (Maleon) Kostick of Bolton, ON; his godmother Pauline Hyshka of Wroxton, SK, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Dan was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Manuel "Manoli" and Olga (nee Melnychuk) Kostick, Nestor and Elsie (nee Savliuk) Holunga; his brother Larry in infancy; as well as his father-in-law Ed Waggoner. A celebration of Dans life was held Saturday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Mission Church, Roblin, under the auspices of the Pentecostal Church with Pastor Carl Rushton officiating and interment was held at Roblin District Cemetery.
