Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) IRENE SCHEVECK It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) Irene Scheveck on Tuesday, March 28, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71 years. Remaining to forever cherish moms memory are her daughters, Melinda, Tammy, Leslie, Charlotte and Pamela. Betty was known most for being a wonderful grandmother and "Nan" to her 15 grandchildren. Memories of laughter, baking cookies and warm hugs will live on forever in their hearts, long after the tearful good-byes of today. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren whom both have had a chance to be touched by her love. Mom grew up in Portage la Prairie as Betty Irene Myers. She married her first husband Donald Jennings and they lived together in Winnipeg. She later married and was predeceased by her second husband Paul Scheveck who she enjoyed 28 years of happiness with. Bettys Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive with Bishop David Haddad officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Daeninck and the wonderful nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital in the Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care they gave to our mom. "We all carry such wonderful memories of you mom and they will be with all of us forever. Please give Dad and Buddy a hug and kiss from all of us. We love you and well miss you." Bettys family has entrusted her arrangements to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
