GLEN WEBSTER Beloved husband of Alice died Saturday, March 25, 2000 at Tri-Lake Health Centre in Killarney, Manitoba after a lengthy illness. He was raised on, and later took over the family farm. He married Alice Coates in 1943. They left the farm in 1957 and following three years in Winnipeg, moved to Killarney in 1960. Glen retired in 1980 from the Farm Credit Corporation. Glen is survived by his loving wife and true companion of 57 years. Also surviving are two sons, Lloyd (Barbara) of Minitonas, Man. and Jim (Valerie) of Burlington, Ontario; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan and Sean; two sisters, Ruth Chandler, Winnipeg and Irene Des Autels, Traverse City, Michigan; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and 13 nieces and nephews. Glen was predeceased by his brother Lloyd of the R.C.A.F. in an air mission over Germany in November, 1943 and an infant son in 1952. Memorial service was held on March 28 at Wheatland Chapel, Killarney. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Killarney Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund or Canadian Cancer Society.
