MILTON R. KENNEDY On Thursday, March 30, 2000 at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, Milton R. Kennedy passed away following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66 years. Milton had been employed as an area supervisor with Manitoba Hydro at various points throughout Manitoba until his retirement. Predeceased by his parents, John and Ruby Kennedy; brothers, Donald, Floyd and Glenn (killed in action during the Second World War) father-in-law Michael Prysiazniuk. Milton leaves to cherish many fond memories, his loving wife Margaret of Onanole, Man.; two daughters, Shannon (Myles) Duff of Winnipeg, Shayla Kennedy of Minneapolis, Minn.; grandsons, Connor and Cameron Duff; sisters, Velma Steinsvik of Carman, Man., Norma Fitzpatrick of Medicine Hat, Alta.; brothers, Murray (Olga) Kennedy of Hill Spring, Alta., Laurence (Lee) Kennedy of Stettler, Alta.; his mother-in-law Jennie Prysiazniuk of Dauphin, Man.; many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family Tuesday evening, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel, 502 Main St. S., Dauphin, Man. for a masonic memorial tribute to be conducted by Vermillion Lodge #68 AF & AM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dauphin First United Church, Rev. Freda Rajotte officiating with interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery at Carman, Man. at 3:30 p.m. Burial service will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Larstone. Should friends so desire, contributions in memory of Milton may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service of Dauphin, Man. have care of the arrangements.
