ELEANOR McLEOD Peacefully, on April 2, 2000 Eleanor passed away at the Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg. Eleanor was born in Warwick, Ontario on June 11, 1918. She was predeceased by her husband Ken in 1981. Left to remember her are foster sons, Ken (Susan) Park, Richard (Rose) Strauss, Ed (Pauline) Strauss and their children; sisters, Marion Wark and Dorothy Fong; brother Art (Ann) Wark and many nieces and nephews. Eleanor lived much of her life in the Warren and Stonewall area. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing, curling and gardening. Eleanor worked many years at the Stonewall Hospital. The family would like to thank Eleanors special friend Rose Buck for her ongoing care and support. Also thanks to the staff on Unit 4 at the Victoria Hospital for the care and compassion given to Eleanor. Funeral Service will be held in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 391 Main St., Stonewall, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 5. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
