GERALDINE (GERRY) RUTH NICHOLLS We sadly announce the sudden death of Geraldine (Gerry) Nicholls, on Wednesday, March 30, 2000, with family by her side, at the Health Science Centre, at the age of 59 years. Gerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Larry Stokes, her soul mate; sisters, Flora (Doug), Jessie (Leo) and Joan; numerous nephews and nieces, many friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Reggie and sister Kay. Gerry was a strong, loving and giving lady who loved her animals, gardening and crafts. Gerry worked with Dr. J.Y. Pierce in the Boyd Building as a dental assistant. A service of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, April 5, at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave., with Padre Stan Millar officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. The family thanks the nurses and staff of I.C.U. Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion given Gerry. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Gerry may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8, or the Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R3L 1X3.
