OLIVE H. JOHNSON (nee LAING) On Thursday, March 30, 2000 in Coleman, Texas, Olive, passed away at the age of 81 years. Olive was born on November 6th, 1918 in Winnipeg. She loved sports and enjoyed doing things for other people. Olive worked hard to support her family despite the many trials in her life. Mom devoted her life to her family and friends and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Pat and friend Mickey; four sons, Thomas, John and wife Winnie of Calgary, Alta., Leonard and wife Jackie and Gerald and wife Misty of Coleman, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley McQuade and husband Dennis and many nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by her mother Isabella; father John; brother John and daughters-in-law, Lil and Diane. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Service will conclude in the chapel with cremation to follow.
