BRUNO STOCKI (Brunoslaw) Suddenly, on Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, Bruno Stocki, passed away at the age of 64 years. Bruno was born in Poland on April 6, 1935. He came to Canada in 1962 and worked for C.P.R. until his early retirement in 1994. Bruno spent his retirement, enjoying life with his wife of 44 years, children and grandchildren. He undertook many projects to occupy his time. Bruno was a man of good nature, always gave but never took anything in return. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his beloved wife Bernice; six children Joseph (Sandra), Freda (Lloyd), Anna (Brian), Christina (Rick), Richard, Johnny (Gina) seven grandchildren, Serena, Catherine, Lisa, Jennifer, Krystle, Ricky Jr., Dylan; mother and father-in-law John and Frances Zablocki; sister-in-law Rita (Nick) nephews David and Lawrence; and many friends that were very dear and close to him. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 7, between 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial by an Oblate Father at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Swereda, Brian Lupichuk, Richard Kenyon, Nick Szucs, Lawrence Szucs, and Jeff Swereda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brunos memory to the Holy Ghost Church Building Fund.
