Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMA APRILIA COLLINS (NEE HALL) 1917-2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother on March 2, 2000, at St. Norbert Nursing Home. Mom was born Norma Aprilia Hall on April 1, 1917 in Winnipeg. After receiving her education in the St. James School System, she met Tom Collins and they were married in 1938. They originally settled in Rayburn, Mb., and then moved to Winnipeg. In 1948, they moved to their new home at 897 Bannatyne Ave. which was the site of many great times with friends and family. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Tom in 1990 and her daughter Carole Kowalinski in 1988. Left to cherish her memory, are son Jerry (Jane) of Guelph, Ont.; daughter Linda (Al) Boitson of Winnipeg; son-in-law Don Kowalinski of Toronto, Ont.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Basil Hall of Winnipeg and nieces and nephew. Mom worked at Sears, Polo Park and Inkster Park for many years, and upon retirement, her time was spent with The North Winnipeg Centennial Pool Seniors Group, where with her sense of humor and great love of "Kibitzing around" she enjoyed many good times and great trips. She later was a member of The Get Away Club at Deer Lodge Hospital. This group also provided much enjoyment and laughter for Mom. Rev. Hugo Unruh will conduct a Memorial Service on Saturday April 8th, 2000, at 12:30 p.m. from Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A special Thank You to all the Staff at St. Norbert Nursing Home for all the loving care they gave Mom. They are very special people and the family wishes to thank them for that. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Cemetery and Crematorium 885-9715
