Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTER ELIN JORUNDSON (OLSON) Peacefully in the early morning hours of April 4, 2000, after a brave battle with Parkinsons disease. Ester was predeceased by her husband Franklin on August 8, 1999. Ester will be sadly missed by her son, Cameron (Rose) and her grandsons, Wesley and Curtis of Langley, B.C. Ester will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Eric (Lil) Olson of Victoria, B.C., Edward (Ruth) Olson of Nanaimo, B.C., Edwin (Ella) Olson of Brandon and sisters, Elsie (Gardar) Gislason of Winnipeg, Elverna (Ole) Hansen of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. Ester was an active lady with a love for life and an equally great passion for cooking and entertaining. Ester was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba, January 28, 1916, married Franklin in October 1940 and lived in Lundar, Manitoba, until 1943 when they moved to Charleswood. Ester spent those early years raising mink and later turned her talents to hairdressing until 1985, when her and Franklin moved to Langley, B.C. to be closer to their immediate family.
