DAVID LAWRENCE TODD (TOPOLNISKI) After a brief illness with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of David on Monday, March 27, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, at the age of 59 years. David was born December 7, 1941 at the R.M. of Rossburn. He attended Mohyla Public School and went to high school at Rossburn. He enjoyed summer Bible camp, outdoor activities and farm work. During his teen years, David took a keen interest in the Bible, organ playing and hymn singing. He attended a Baptist Theological School in South Carolina for one year. On his return to Winnipeg, he worked in sales for Frost Beauty Supplies. In later years, he worked for brief periods with Crawley McCracken and Mid West Catering in Northern Manitoba. During summer months, he spent quite a bit of time at Falcon Lake. Remaining to forever cherish Davids memory are his brothers, Lorne (Judy), Walter (Marge) sister Jean; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Annie; father John; brothers, Peter, Paul, Mervin, Johnnie, Nestor, Bruce, Henry and Sam. A Service of Remembrance celebrating Davids life will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rivercrest United Church, 4249 Main St., West St. Paul, MB with Rev. Christine Bridgett officiating. Interment will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Johns Ukrainian United Church Cemetery, Rossburn, MB, with pastor Wayne Crowfford officiating. Our family would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care of David; Dr. Paul Doucette, Dr. Karen Humphries, Dr. Manishen, the staff in Emergency, 5-A South, M.I.C.U., 5-B Internal Medicine and 6-A South Family Medicine.
