ROBERTA (BOBBIE) SOUNESS KOLB Peacefully on April 6, 2000 at St. Boniface Hospital, Bobbie, beloved wife of Lloyd Kolb of Winnipeg, died at the age of 78 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Keith and Barrie (Lil) four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her two sisters, Bess (Len) Loney and Mary Kitchen. She was predeceased by her brother Bill. Bobbie was born and raised in North Kildonan. She was an animal lover and avid gardener and enjoyed creating things with her hands. Her generosity was only exceeded by her love and caring for others. This was reflected in her work as Activity Director at the Bethania Personal Care Home and as Director of Activities of the Golden Links Lodge. Bobbie and Lloyd spent many summers at their Falcon Lake cottage and winter holidays in Honolulu. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Deacon John Fontaine and Rev. Bob Davis officiating. If friends desire, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9 or to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
