VIOLET (VI) MILNE (nee WOOD) Peacefully on April 6, 2000 at Concordia Hospital, Vi Milne, widow of the late Jim Milne, died at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her children, Gary (Donna) and Arlene (Hal) Krahn and grandchildren, Kelly, Kim (Jamie) and their father David; Tanis (Kent) Danielle, and Colleen. She is further survived by sisters, Doreen (Jimmy) and Betty (Buck) as well as sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Margaret and Alice, and numerous nieces and nephews. Vi was predeceased by her husband James (Jimmy) in 1984; three brothers; one brother-in-law, and one sister-in-law. Special thanks to all the staff at Concordia Hospital over the last few months. Vi loved to have fun and took great pleasure in spending time with her family. Since she was born on September 17, 1914, last September was spent celebrating her 85th birthday along with the Wood Family Reunion. She was a special person who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by family and those who knew her. Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Michael Boulger officiating.
