MARSHALL ALEXANDER Peacefully on April 4, 2000, Marshall "Alec" Alexander passed away. Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves to mourn his daughters, Judith and Janet; grandsons, Scott and Anthony; loving family friends, Wendy and Emily and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. "Grampa" will especially be missed by his four-legged constant companions, Star, Sasha, Bubba and Spats. He was predeceased by his son Gerald. Marshall was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1913. He immigrated to Winnipeg when he was a young boy and spent his entire life here. He served overseas during the Second World War and upon his return home met and married Kathleen in 1946. He was employed at Health Sciences Centre until his retirement. Marshall enjoyed meeting with his friends at A.N. & A.F. Unit #60 where he was a lifetime member, as well as having served on the executive. During his last few years he enjoyed tending to his garden in the summer. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, at Brookside Cemetery, with Father Garry Killen officiating. Luncheon will be served at A.N. & A.F. Unit #60. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook St. 774-7474
