ELISE SIMPSON Elise, beloved wife of Bill, passed away peacefully with Bill at her side on Friday, April 7, 2000 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in England, Elise came to Winnipeg in 1972 where she and Bill were married and settled in Charleswood. Elise was known for her deep love of animals and spent many hours helping people find their lost pets. Nothing pleased her more than a telephone call to say that a lost pet had been found. "Im so pleased," she would say. "Give him a big hug for me." In accordance with Elises wishes, there will be no service. Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Grace General Hospital on 4 West, Louise (VON) and Dr. J. Mulder for their excellent care, kindness and compassion. We would also like to thank the chaplains for their words of comfort. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Elise may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3 or to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3J 3M7.
