MARGARET (TAINTON) GLEN (nee TAGGART) 1927 - 2000 After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Margaret Glen passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Grace General Hospital, on Thursday, April 6, 2000. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert; son George Tainton of British Columbia; daughter Rachelle Tengerdy and husband Frank; granddaughter Chantel; sister Rita; brothers, Bill and wife Mabel and John; sister-in-law Hazel Scholtes and husband Bob of Los Angeles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., in the Garden of Resurrection. A memorial service will follow at a later date. Our family wishes to express a sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Margarets memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 2B7.
