Margaret was born, February 22, 1941 in Minnedosa, Man., married Edward Gears, in Winnipeg, and moved to Thompson in 1966, where she raised her family, enjoying camping, fishing, gardening and her many pets. Mom retired and moved to the little farm she always dreamed of in 1997, with her dear companion Larry Blais. The family would like to thank Dr. Dueck, and the Staff at the Beausejour Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Beausejour Hospital. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But Still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you, And Whispered "Come to Me." So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. Sobering Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Beausejour in care of arrangements.
