LEO CHABOT Born in St. Malo February 27, 1928 Died April 9, 2000 It is with deepest sorrow that our family announces the passing of our dear brother and brother-in-law Leo Chabot aged 72 years of Marchand, Manitoba. Leo leaves to mourn his passing, his sister Florence (Herman) Giesbrecht; his brothers, Maurice (Dolorese) Chabot, Lucien Chabot; his sisters, Clemance (John) Giesbrecht, Germaine Lepine, Irene (Jim) Nikkle, his brothers, Wilfred (Debbie) Chabot, Archie (Jeanne) Chabot, Rene (Estelle) Chabot and many nieces, nephews and friends. Leo was predeceased by his father Edward Chabot February 13, 1970; his mother Ourilie Chabot February 10, 1993; brother-in-law Joseph Delorme March 1982; sister-in-law Bertha Chabot in 1994; step brother Peter Grouette in 1999. Leo worked for BACM Construction until his retirement. He was a hobby farmer with his brother Maurice. One of his favourite pastimes was going to Auction Sales with his brother Maurice. He also loved gardening and sharing vegetables with family and friends. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church in LaBroquerie, Man. with Father Leonce Aubin presiding. Pallbearers for the service will be his nephews, Joey Chabot, Chubby Chabot, Harvey Delorme, Raymond Nikkel, Archie Chabot and Jason Chabot. The family would like to thank Dr. P.C. de Moissac and the staff for the care of Leo. Rest in Peace dear brother, brother-in-law. We love you and miss you.
