DORIS BUTLAND (POSELUZNEY) (nee TOMIUK) October 20, 1929 - April 8, 2000 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Doris Butland, beloved wife, mother, baba, great-baba, sister, aunt and dear friend to all that knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, (Fred and Anne) first husband (Nick) brothers, Jerry, Dan, Ed, and sisters, Irene and Joyce. Doris will be sadly missed and dearly remembered by husband George; daughters, Lynn (Bob), Kathy, Colleen (Keith) sons, Richard (Brenda), Robert (Rhonda), Kerry (Debbie), Tim (Susan), Allan (Edie) and Keith (Cathy) her grandchildren, Jason (Maria), Kelly, Robin, Kevin, Tracey, Kolby, Carin, Jeff, Marissa, Curtis, Jen (Karl), Myles, Trevor, Randy, Jackie, Rick (Cheryl), Christine, Samantha (Pete), Bailey, Dale, Katy and Carly; her sisters, Olga, Helen, Verna (Andy) brothers, Dennis (Diane), Lawrence (Gloria) sisters-in-law, Jessie, Helen, Charlotte, Elsie and Sally; brother-in-law John, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Born in Winnipeg, Doris loved to garden, cook and get together with friends at Kin Place to play whist. While we will always miss her, her memory will live on in all of us whose hearts she touched in so many ways. Moms greatest love was her family and she took a keen interest in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and generosity. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane, with cremation to follow. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. also at Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations may be made in Doris memory to the Kin Place Personal Care Home, 103-689 Main St., Oakbank, MB R0E 1J1 or to the charity of ones choice.
