DOROTHY (DORIS) LETANDRE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, granny and auntie, Doris Letandre on Monday, April 10, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 75. Mom was born on October 13, 1924 at Fairford, MB. She was always very thoughtful, considerate and helpful to everyone. She enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed birdwatching, animals and wildlife. In her passing, she leaves to mourn her children, Clifford (Elsie), Lorraine (Allan) Anderson, Raymond (Sharon) and Harold Jr.; special nephew George Sumner Jr.; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends; also brother-in-law Louis Letandre; sister-in-law Kathleen Bear and many other relatives. Mom was predeceased by her husband Harold in December of 1995; father Thomas Sanderson in December of 1949; mother Christina (Woodhouse) in December of 1990; sister Olive (Sumner) in November, 1947; brother David Sanderson in October, 1991; sister-in-law Lena Sanderson in December, 1997 and her children in infancy, Thomas, Wayne and Margaret. A viewing service will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at Arnasons Funeral Home in Ashern, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Helens Anglican Church, Fairford, with interment to follow at the Fairford Cemetery. All services will be conducted by Rev. John Letandre. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Llewellyn Letandre, Aaron Letandre, Andy Anderson, Amos Anderson, Jeremy Anderson and Scott Anderson.
