Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEF MOCNIAK Peacefully on April 6, 2000 at his residence, Josef Mocniak died at the age of 79 years. Josef was born on October 15, 1920 in Spytkowice, Poland. After his parents died, Josef was in France returning to Poland in 1939 serving in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. He immigrated to Canada after the war and worked as a welder in various companies until his retirement. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow after the service at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Please make a donation in remembrance of Josef to the charity of your choice.
