MILLICENT MARGARET HARDING (nee LENNERTON) It is with deep sadness that we the family of Millicent Margaret Harding announce her passing on Monday, April 10, 2000. Peacefully, with her daughters at her side Millicent (Billie) completed her lifes journey. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Doreen (Moe) and Donna (Ron) her grandchildren, Wendy (Dwayne), Ken (Pauline), Brent (Mabel) and Warren; her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Amanda, as well as her many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her husband Charles in 1986. Always a lady, Billie had a kindness and gentleness about her, which was admired by all who knew her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose family was her greatest joy and passion. As a young woman, she taught Sunday school and had a wonderful zest for life, which she expressed through her music. Billie was an accomplished pianist who entertained her friends and at church. Her fondness for travel was only surpassed by her love of the cottage and being close to the lake. She was an excellent cook who loved knitting and crocheting. She would spend many hours reading or gaming with the family. Although Billie will be sorely missed, she will fondly and forever be in our minds and our hearts. In keeping with Billies wishes, no service will be held. Our family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the Grace Hospital, Dr. Van Horne and Dena. Your kindness and caring were immeasurable in making this time easier. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Billies memory may be made to the Winnipeg Ostomy Association, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. Billies family has entrusted her arrangements to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
