MARCEL CLARENCE GUIMOND Suddenly, on Monday, April 10, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre, Marcel Guimond, aged 46 years of Scanterbury, Man. He leaves his beloved wife Barbara; children, Charlene, Kelvin, Ashley, Sheila, Roxanne, Larry, Robert, Kimberley, Gordon, Jamie Seymour; brothers and sisters, George (Lena), Noella (William), Thelma (Joe) and Glen (Mary) 22 grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers and one sister. Marcel was born on July 23, 1953 in Pine Falls, Man. to Clarence and Rose Guimond. He was raised in Fort Alexander and moved to Scanterbury in 1980. He met and married Barbara in 1985. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and trapping as well as bingo. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. A wake will be held at the Scanterbury Community Hall on Thursday, April 13 (today) starting at 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. also in the hall. Interment to follow in the Community Cemetery. Marcels pallbearers will be Clarence Kent, Paul Guimond, Langford Straight, Nathanial Guimond, Tommy Prince Jr. and John Kent. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
