Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (TAINTON) GLEN (nee TAGGART) After a courageous battle with cancer, Margaret Glen passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2000. Margaret was born in Winnipeg on September 24, 1927 to William and Rachel Taggart from Belfast, Ireland. She married George Tainton on July 12, 1952 at Young United Church on Broadway. Together they had two children, George and Rachelle. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband on March 17, 1974. In 1987, Margaret then married Bob Glen. She leaves behind many family members. Also many friends that were close and dear to her. She was a very loving and caring person that did everything from her heart. We admired Mom for her commitment to her friends and devotion to her family, (Husband Bob, son George, daughter Rachelle, husband Frank and granddaughter Chantel). Each one of us will sadly miss her and each one of us will grieve, but as she had told us, "Keep my memory in your heart and happiness will remain with you." A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. in Crestview United Church, 316 Hamilton Ave. with The Reverend Beth Rutherford officiating. Margarets family has entrusted her arrangements to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

I met Margaret a few times in Montreal as I knew her son George well. She was an incredibly kind and caring soul. She loved her son very much and would do anything for him. I am so sorry to read of her passing. - Posted by: Matthew Hays (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2013
