Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTON (TONY) HRYHORCHUK Peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2000 at his residence, Tony Hryhorchuk, beloved husband of Rose, of Riverton, MB. Born in Ledwyn on April 20, 1929, Tony farmed all his life but was well known for his mechanical expertise. In 1974 he built Tonys Service Centre in Riverton and operated it until 1985, when he sold it and continued his life on the farm. In his earlier days he worked away from home logging, trucking, and on road construction. Tony is survived by his wife Rose; three sons, Anthony (Verna), Kelly (Brandy), Mark, Scott; Curtis (Marilyn), Ryan and Niki; Rory (Heather), Rebekah; brothers, Philip (Carol) and Dennis; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Walter) Tomiak, Janet (Jerry) Helgason, Joy (Joe) Kjartanson, Veronica (Jim) Johnson; brother-in-law Wayne Thorarinson; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Alex and Anna; infant son; granddaughter Kristy; in-laws, Albert and Verna Thorarinson and brother-in-law Carl Horeczy. Funeral service will be held in Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, Tuesday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. Student Pastor Susan Horton will officiate with interment to follow in the Ukrainian Ledwyn Cemetery. Honourary pallbearers, Ted Krul, Matt Anderson, Stanley Bonkowski, Walter Tomiak, Jerry Helgason, Gordon Zinkowski. Pallbearers, Jack Furgala, Wayne Furgala, Michael Furgala, Roger Furgala, Michael Zinkowski, Darryl Horeczy. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church Riverton, MB or to the Ukrainian Ledwyn Cemetery, care of Bill Triska Riverton, MB. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
