CHRISTINA GERMAINE KEMBER Peacefully on April 11, 2000, after a lengthy illness, mom passed away at the age of 70. Chris is survived by her daughter Gayle Charambura; granddaughter Kali; son Rik Charambura (Ann) granddaughter Rowan and foster-daughter Jean. Mom will always be remembered for her care and concern for others. With a young family, mom was always willing to take in numerous foster children. She was fiercely protective of all the many animals she cared for over the years. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the Deer Lodge Centre for their care and to long-time friend Dolly. A very special thank you to the Gastl family for their invaluable support and friendship over the years. At moms request, cremation and private family service have already taken place. If so wished, a donation in Chris name may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
