Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILLICENT JEAN VRIENS Monday, April 10, 2000, the Lord came and placed his loving arms around Millicent Jean Vriens and took her home. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Cornelius (Neil) and her many friends, young and old. Millie was born June 27, 1920 and lived her life in Winnipeg and on June 27, 1940 married her life-time partner Neil. In her younger days she spent time doing what she loved most. Dancing, bowling and even golfing. She also cherished the precious times spent with her good friends out at the lake. She developed a fondness for travelling in the camper trailer and proved this many times as she travelled through the States and all over with Neil, making new friends along the way. Up until the fall of 1998, Millie attended Tache Day Centre. She looked forward with great enthusiasm to this outing, spending time with new friends and being involved in numerous activities. Millie was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. Always showing care and concern for others, ignoring her own suffering in the past year. Her memory will be cherished by her extended family and we wish to thank the staff on Cornish 2 for their care over the past year. A special thank you to Grace for her loving care and tenderness these past few weeks. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Millicents name to the Funeral Planning and Memorial Society of Manitoba, 661 Jubilee Ave. Millie, As you walk with the Lord May you rest in peace Until we are together again Neil NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
