OLGA EISBRENNER (nee KOKOT) Peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2000, Olga passed away at the Oakview Place Nursing Home at the age of 92 to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was predeceased by her husband William (Wilhelm) in March of 1984. Remaining to forever cherish Olgas memory are her five sons, three daughters and their families, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. On May 30, 1907, Olga was born in Puchawa, Poland. She and Wilhelm immigrated with their family to Canada in 1947 and settled in Minitonas. When they retired, they moved to Winnipeg in 1959 and have since resided here. Viewing for family and friends will be held tomorrow evening, Sunday, April 16 from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Blvd. and a half hour prior to Olgas funeral service, which will be held on Monday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Ave., with Olgas great-nephew, Rev. Wayne Eisbrenner officiating. Interment will follow a reception in the church in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave. Our family would like to express a sincere and special thanks to Dr. Sharon Mould and all the nurses and staff at the Oakview Place Nursing Home for their attention and care given to our Mother. As well, a personal thanks to Karl Eisbrenner for his kindness and daily prayers. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in moms memory to a charity of your choice.
