Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM NORTON MILLER Nort passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at Victoria Hospital at the age of 85 years. Nort was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen in 1981. Dads memory will be cherished by his children, daughter Judith (Lloyd Kreutzer), grandchildren, Shannon (Martin), Wendy (Mike), Kelly and great-granddaughter Paige; sons, Robin (Faye), grandchildren, Christine, Jennifer and John. Keith (Judy) grandchildren, Doug, David, Danny and Diana, Don (Mary) grandchildren, Matthew and Mandy as well as one brother Robert Miller of Vancouver, BC. Dad was born on June 20, 1914, one of two sons to Frederick and Mabel Miller. He met and married his wife Kathleen in 1941. Dad served in the Canadian Royal Air force for three years during the Second World War. Nort worked for the City of Winnipeg Transit for 39 years before retiring in 1979. Dad was a member of the Prince Edward Legion #81 where he loved to play darts and became quite the competitor winning numerous competitions. He was also a member of St. Alphonsus Parish for 40 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for the excellent care given to Dad over the last two and a half years. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 17 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 a.m. with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 120 Donald Street, R3C 3R6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
