Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD D. AMOS Donald D. Amos passed away on April 14, 2000 at St. Boniface Hospital. Born at Weston Super Mare, England, on May 25, 1918, he came to Canada with his parents in 1921, settling in St. Vital. He served overseas as a surveyor with the Royal Canadian Artillery, after which he was employed with Winnipeg Transit until his retirement in 1983. Don was predeceased by his parents, Bert and Lil Amos, brothers Alan and Brian and sister Beryl. He is survived by his wife Joyce who came to Canada as a war bride in 1946, his son Richard and family in Selkirk, daughter Susan and family in B.C., brother Bernard in B. C. and sister Shirley Yule in Winnipeg. Thanks to Dr. Kahanovitch and Naomi for their care for Don over the years and to Bob Webster. A memorial service will be held on Monday April 17, at 3:00 p.m. in St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, 3 St. Vital Rd. with Rev. Bob Webster officiating. No flowers please.
