M. PERRY GEORGE Born on March 18, 1922 in Deloraine, Man., passed away on April 12, 2000 in his home in Onanole, Man. Perry is predeceased by his father John Milton George; his mother Emma Jean (nee Perry) his sister Jean Cummings and his brothers, Donald and Ronald. He leaves behind his wife Florence (nee Allan) his four children, Lamont, Keith, Barbara and Beryth; his brother Harry George (Boissevain), his wife Louise and their four children, Jeff, Lory, Pam and Jacquie; also left behind are daughter-in-law Judy (nee Moroz) son-in-law Duncan Strong and his four grandsons, Brian, Brad, Kyle and Ryan. Perry enjoyed music and played in a dance band with his brother Ron, but his biggest dream was to fly. Perrys dream to fly was realized when he enlisted with the R.C.A.F. at the age of 20 and became a Bomber Pilot. His love of flying and aircraft saw him volunteering at the Western Canada Aviation Museum after he retired from the Manitoba Telephone System. Perry was an intelligent, gentle and gracious man who will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the Western Canada Aviation Museum, 958 Ferry Rd. Contributions to Western Canada Aviation Museum or charity of choice in Perrys name greatly appreciated.
