PAULA JEFFERY (HAMEL) Born on February 7, 1907, in the former Austria-Hungarian Empire (Bohemia), Paula passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 15, 2000. Paula had moved to Canada in the early 1920s with her adoptive grandparents. She often expressed her love of Canada and how fortunate she was to have moved here. Mrs. Jeffrey was an accomplished seamstress making her own clothes and doing embroidery, some of which were framed and enjoyed by her to the end. In 1933 she married Herbert who predeceased her in 1989. Among other things they shared many pleasurable hours fishing in Manitoba waters. A small graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., April 19, at St. Vital Cemetery. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949 - 2200
