She was predeceased by her husband Murray in May of 1994. She is survived by her children, Debbie Armstrong, Donna (Derrick) Edmundson, Bill (Carole) Armstrong and Leanne (Keith) Zoroneck. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Hugh Armstrong, Courtney, Cole and Nevin Edmundson, Christine and Meaghane Armstrong, Frazer and Stuart Zoroneck. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Helen Haney of Birtle and Robina Spencer of Virden, as well as Moyra Armstrong, Fan and Bob Dickson, Bob and Enid Armstrong, Doreen Harvie and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was born December 2, 1929 in Shoal Lake, Man. and was raised in the Birtle area. She met Dad and they were married in Birtle on June 4, 1952. Mom made a loving home wherever Dads career with Manitoba Hydro led us, Birtle, Minto, Shoal Lake, Stonewall and Steinbach, retiring to Winnipeg in 1984. Mom was a loving, caring person who did everything from her heart. Her family and especially her grandchildren always came first. She loved to knit, sew and bake and took great pride in opening her home to family and friends. The family extends our deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Steinbach Personal Care Home and Resthaven Nursing Home who so tenderly cared for Mom and supported our family. A memorial service will be held at the United Church in Birtle, Man. at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margarets memory to the Alzheimer Society, 205 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 1R4. Arrangements entrusted to Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Man.
