JARED RAY LOVETT Suddenly on April 14, 2000, while recovering from open heart surgery in Montreal, Jared Ray Lovett, beloved infant son of Shelley and Ron passed away at the age of 14 months. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, on Thursday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Jared was born on February 15, 1999, and his short life was filled with many battles. We were fortunate enough to have him at home for his last five months. He brought us and everyone who met him a lot of joy. He was a happy baby, full of smiles and laughter. We will miss him. Besides his parents, Jared leaves to mourn his passing his grandparents: Cliff and Liz Waytiuk of East Selkirk; Art and Miriam Lovett of Kelowna, B.C.; great-grandmother Catherine Waytiuk of East Selkirk; Aunts and Uncles: Chris and Bob, Susan, Laurel and Michael, Linda and Ed, as well as his cousins and all his friends. Should friends so desire memorial donations in Jareds memory may be made to the Variety Childrens Heart Centre, 685 William Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 0A2. The Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, in care of the arrangements.
