GEORGE MORELL It is with great sorrow Georges family shares the news of his early passing in Kyiv, Ukraine on Sunday, April 2, 2000. George leaves a legacy of cherished memories for Anne, his wife, partner and best friend of 32 years. He was fortunate to see his children, Sarah of Calgary and Jason of Winnipeg grow up to be fine adults and his was immensely proud of their successes and endeavours. He also leaves behind his much loved parents, George and Ethel Morell of North Bay, Ont. and brother, Douglas of Vancouver, BC. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins from the Miranichi, New Brunswick and Annes family in Ontario and B.C. Cremation and a private family service was held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 7. In gratitude of the support received from friends and co-workers a celebration of Georges life will be held in the near future. For those who wish to honour his memory, contributions to the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, Centre for Pan Hellenic Civilization or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated.
