EDWARD PENMAN Peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2000, Edward Penman passed away at Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 90. Ed was predeceased by his parents and also by his wife Velma in 1979. He will be very much missed and fondly remembered by his close friends, the Gallants and his very dear friend "Miss Jeannie" Sanderson. Ed was an active sportsman, participating in soccer, speed skating, fancy ice skating, fancy roller skating, bowling, badminton and golf. He and his partner Jean McCullough held the roller skating dancing championship in Manitoba for 14 years. They were never beaten. He retired from the plumbing industry in 1981 after a long and successful career for 54 years with Crane Co. He was proud to be a pioneer of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Manitoba Inc. We would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor as well as a very special thank you to the caregivers on 3 MRU at the Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Eds memory to the charity of your choice.
