ALFRED KIRK NAPPER July 18, 1909 - April 9, 2000 It is with deep sadness we the family of Alf Napper announce his passing in Burnaby, B.C. Dad was predeceased by our Mom on November 16, 1990. Dad is survived by eight children, Sheila (Jack) Bruce and family of Airdrie, Alta., Garth (Marge) and family of Comox, B.C., Terry (Joan) of Surrey, B.C., Lynne (Wayne) Asham and family of Portage la Prairie, Dale and family of Winnipeg, Heather (Mark) Wilkinson and family of Ste. Rose, Valerie (Walter) Jervis of McBride, B.C. and Wendy (Lorain) Audet and family of Lamont, Alta. There are also 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. In 1935, Mom and Dad settled in Alonsa and began farming. Dad serviced in the R.C.A.F. from 1942-1945. They later built a theatre in Alonsa. Dad went to Teachers College in 1959 and taught till his retirement. He enjoyed playing the saxophone and played at area dances for many years. At Dads request cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntingtons Society of Canada, P.O. Box 1269, Cambridge, Ont. N1R 7G6.
