REV. DR. N. K. "KEN" CAMPBELL Passed away at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario on Monday, April 17, 2000, in his 85th year, dearly beloved husband and precious partner of Margaret (nee Houghton). Predeceased by his brother Angus Peter "Pete". Loving father of son Jim and dear Olga, daughter Judy and husband Ken Taylor, daughter Susan of Rama. Dearly loved grandfather of Karen and her husband Ray Sullivan of Ottawa, Bryce and Dawn Taylor, Mark Taylor, Maggie Donec and proud great-grandfather of dear little Edyn. During 40 years of ministry in the United Chruch of Canada he faithfully served charges in The Pas, Manitoba, Atlantic Avenue in Winnipeg, Knox United in Thunder Bay, 15 years at his beloved East Plains United in Burlington where he was named Minister Emeritus and enjoyed 10 years as pastoral visitor at Wellington Square United Church in Burlington. He also served as Superintendent of Missions for Manitoba, North Western Ontario for six years and was honoured by United College Winnipeg with his Doctorate. Will be sadly missed by brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, especially dear Karen of Petrolia and so many dear friends. Called Home now to rest, by the Master whom he loved and served with all his heart. Visitation at SMITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Wednesday 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at East Plains United Church, 375 Plains Road East, Burlington on Thursday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. B. Moore and Dr. Knight and all the wonderful, caring, loving nurses at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital.
