ANNE H. RUSSELL (nee BROWN) June 29, 1936 - April 20, 2000 After a long illness, Anne passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her children, Debbie (Gerry), John (Sonja), Kim (Darren), Susan (Dan), Anne (Miles). She was blessed with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Erin, Heather, Sean, Amanda, Becky, Tayler, Jessica, Cody and Austin. She will be sadly missed by her sister Marian Magee of Winnipeg and her brother Terry Brown of Calgary, as well as several nieces, nephews, beloved family members and friends. The family is most grateful for the wonderful care given by the staff of GD-4 as well as the compassionate longterm care of Dr. David Rush, Dr. John Jeffries and the staff of the Renal Clinic GE-4. Cremation has already taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 10 Bittersweet Bay, on Saturday, April 22, after 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Kidney Foundation at 200 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 1L8. Some People Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. The stay in our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.
