Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY DAY (nee STOUT) Peacefully on April 21, 2000 Dorothy Day passed away at Grace General Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 87 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Herbert and daughter Maureen. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Margot Bailes of Lethbridge Alta., and her son Grant (Dorothy) Day of Grande Prairie, Alta. as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., moving to Winnipeg with her family in 1955. Dorothy will be remembered for her volunteer work with Grace Hospital Auxiliary and her community involvement with her church. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 26 at 2:30 p.m. at Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave., with Reverend Peter Denton officiating. A private family interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire donations may be made in Dorothys memory to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, Man., R3J 3M7.
