Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE KOZAK Peacefully, on Thursday, April 20, 2000, Katherine Kozak passed away at Grace General Hospital. Katherine was born in Gardenton, Manitoba on November 16, 1910 to Ivan and Pearl Machnee. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, John in 1980, son, Alex 1989, brothers, Melvin, Peter, Jake and Sidney, and sister, Suzie Tanchak. Katherine married John Kozak and moved to Saskatchewan where they had five children. She is survived by Tony (Winnipeg), Davis (Mississauga, Ont.), daughter-in-law Elma Kozak (Vancouver, B.C.), Bette (John) Buckingham (Bethune, Sask.), Frances (Edwin) Olson (Calgary, Alta.), 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry (Eleanor) Machnee (Florida, U.S.A.), and Nick (Pauline) Machnee (Gardenton, Man.). She was an avid gardener, and faithful church member. She loved to travel and was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 24 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Rev. George Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Charles United Church, 673 Isbister St., Winnipeg, Man. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
