THERESE DESROSIERS (nee LANSARD) On Friday, April 21, 2000, surrounded by her family, Mme. Therese Desrosiers passed away peacefully at the Ste. Anne Hospital in Ste. Anne, Manitoba after a 16 year battle with leukemia. She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 48 years, Rene Desrosiers; their children and respective families, Roger (children, Carole and her fiance Joel Sala, and Raymond), Leo and his wife Pauline (children, Albert, Colette and Patrick), Michel and his wife Janice (children, Dominique, Jason and Matthew), Emilie, Louise and her husband Eugene Sabot (children, Sylvie, Chantal and Celine), and Robert. She also leaves; daughters-in-law Jeanette, Terry and Terry; brothers and sisters, Marie-Louise Carriere (Donat), Rose, Helene Legal (Charles), Claude (Irene), Leonie Bilcowski (Ed), Raymond (Rita), Irene Ross (Wilfred), as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, family and friends. Therese was born on June 21, 1934 to Claudius Lansard and Jeanette Vranken. She enjoyed crafts and was involved in local projects including the Ste. Genevieve Parish Book. She also enjoyed travelling, especially to Red Deer, Alberta where three of her children resided. Funeral services will be held at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, Manitoba on Tuesday, April 25. Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Father Edouard Bonin will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Interment of Thereses cremated remains will take place in the Ste. Genevieve Parish Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks are extended to Dr. G. Gobeil and Dr. A. Shojania and staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Thereses memory to the Ste. Genevieve Parish Cemetery, P.O. Box 99, Group 20, R.R. 2, Ste.
