LOU K. GOLEBESKI Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Lou left us on Friday, April 21, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre. Lou left us from this world too soon but his memory will forever be cherished by his mother Emilia Golebeski; sister Connie and her husband Mikio; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. On June 25, 1944 Lou was born in Winnipeg and later moved to Molson where he spent his early childhood. In his later life, he built a log cabin in Molson where he spent many long and enjoyable weekends. Lou was in the process of reforesting his property for the benefit of the wildlife, which he loved. Mass of Christian Burial for Lou will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 26 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave. with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson presiding. Burial will take place in the family plot in the Beausejour Town Cemetery, Beausejour, Man., where his father Rufus is interred. Our family expresses sincere thanks to the staff of Riverview Health Centre and the VON for their compassionate care. We also extend special thanks to family and friends for their help and support during Lous illness. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Lous memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. "MAY YOUR CABIN BE WAITING SURROUNDED BY FLOWERS AND TREES AND ALL OF GODS CREATURES" Lous family has placed their trust to the care of: WOJCIKS FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
